Dr. Nicole Howe, MD
DR. NICOLE HOWE IS THE OWNER OF NOVEM DERMATOLOGY AND IS AN EXPERIENCED BOARD-CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST AND FELLOWSHIP TRAINED MOHS SURGEON.
Dr. Howe specializes in surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology for all ages and skin types. She completed her bachelor's at the University of Florida, and upon graduation, entered the University of South Florida College of Medicine where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Howe then continued on at USF and Moffitt Cancer Center for dermatology residency. She had the honor of completing a prestigious and rigorous fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Vermont with Dr. Glenn Goldman and Dr. Todd Holmes. During this fellowship, she honed her skills in all things skin cancer including detection, management, removal, complex reconstructions, and wound healing. She has authored book chapters and numerous journal articles. She is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Howe also worked alongside some of the nation’s best cutaneous surgeons as an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania. After many years experience, she returned to her hometown in Florida in order to be closer to her family and bring a fresh perspective to the region regarding the practice of dermatology. Dr. Howe has several years of service working at the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Florida. She is a compassionate, caring dermatologist who provides personalized and gold-standard care to all her patients. She spends time getting to know you as a person, so as to better meet your needs. She is known to treat her patients as if they were a part of her own family and will instantly make you feel at home with her manner, knowledge, and care.
Dr. Howe grew up in the Tampa area and is vested in contributing positively to the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her boys while kayaking, hiking and sharing her love for nature.
